Behavioral Program Workgroup

Join BPA’s Residential team for a webinar on Thursday, Sept. 22 from 1-3 p.m. (PDT) to learn more about BPA’s Behavioral program offerings. BPA staff will share updates on savings learnings from the Pilot Customer Analytics and Engagement Platform offering (formerly referred to as the Open Q BHER Pilot) and provide information on how to participate. The agenda will also include refreshers on the current Behavioral Home Energy Report offering, as well as an overview of relevant discussions with the Northwest Power and Conservation Council. Efficiency Exchange 2027: Save the Date and Call for Sessions

The annual Efficiency Exchange (EFX) is the Northwest’s premier energy efficiency networking and learning conference. EFX27 will be held at the Wenatchee Convention Center in Wenatchee, Washington, May 18-19, 2027. 

Session submissions will open Sept. 14: Do you have a topic, speaker, or panel that inspires the region to collaborate and innovate on emerging technologies and best practices? Ideas for session proposals from program successes to emerging technologies, best practices in energy efficiency, and more will be accepted from Sept. 14 - Oct. 16. Reminder: NEEA Celebrates Excellence in Northwest Energy Efficiency

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) is accepting nominations for the 2026 Leadership in Energy Efficiency Awards. These annual awards recognize the individuals, teams, programs, and organizations making a lasting impact on the region's energy future. Nominations are open through Sept. 18.

NEEA’s 2025 Commercial Building Stock Assessment and Webinar

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) published the 2025 Commercial Building Stock Assessment (CBSA), a regionally representative assessment of commercial buildings that catalogues characteristics and equipment impacting energy use. The biggest takeaway is clear: Northwest buildings are becoming more energy efficient. New technologies, especially LED lighting and heat pumps, are helping many buildings use less energy while providing the same or better comfort and performance. The full report and database are publicly available. NEEA is also presenting key findings in a public webinar on Thursday, Sept. 10,  from 10:30 a.m. - noon (PDT). Register now to attend.
