Section 508 Compliance

Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. § 794d) requires federal agencies to ensure that information and communication technology (ICT) developed, procured, maintained, or used by the agency is accessible to employees and members of the public with disabilities. This includes electronic content, websites, software, and other digital platforms. For additional information, visit Section 508, the federal government’s official resource on Section 508 implementation.

How to Submit a Section 508 Complaint

If you are a BPA employee or applicant for employment you may contact an EEO Counselor to initiate a complaint of employment discrimination. To begin this process, contact an EEO Counselor at CREEO@bpa.gov

If you are not a BPA employee or applicant, and your concerns involves BPA’s Section 508 compliance, you may contact CREEO at CREEO@bpa.gov for assistance.  If your Section 508 complaint does not involve BPA, contact the federal agency responsible. Each federal agency manages its own Section 508 compliance and complaint process.
