BPA Webinar: High-Performance High-Capacity Heat Pump Field Study

BPA’s Emerging Technologies team is pleased to announce that the High-Performance High-Capacity Heat Pump (HPHC HP) Field Study Report, along with an accompanying two-page summary, is now available on the Emerging Technologies webpage. This multi-year field study of 57 residential sites across the Northwest demonstrates that modern HPHC HPs can deliver significant energy savings over standard electric resistance heating. Save the date for an upcoming webinar on July 16 from 10-11 a.m. (PDT), which will go over the study's findings, methodology, and key utility program recommendations in more detail.

BPA’s Variable Speed Heat Pump (VSHP) Deep Dive Evaluation is underway and making progress on answering some key questions for the region.
